Manos a la obra

Today was my first official day in Clarín.

It seems I will be working in the section called Sociedad. It’s somewhat similar to Features + Regional News.

I had flashbacks to when I started at RUMBO.

The software is similar: how the pages are layed out and the reporters file stories.

Like that first day in RUMBO, when I wrote a brief about strife in Iraq, today I wrote a brief about a fire in the province of Córdoba.

The main difference: I wasn’t quite as nervous as that first day in RUMBO.

And also, one of the main editors gave me an assignment to investigate.
